Mary was born in South Africa, went to school in Namibia and lived the majority of her early life in Botswana. She lived a very carefree childhood, exploring wide open spaces and letting her imagination run wild. At the age of ten an art teacher encouraged her to continue with her artwork and she decided at that time she would be an artist.

The wildlife and magnificent landscapes of Africa is her inspiration. Her main mission as an artist is to bring joy to people through her artwork. “I want them to feel passion, happiness, and curiosity when they look at my artwork.”
